Sunday,8/31/08, a man attempted to illude police officers in Waynesboro. Apparently the man driving the sedan blew a tire on the front driver side coming off of Delphine Ave. onto Bridge Ave. Pieces of tire were strung from Delphine Ave. to King Ave. The man stopped at the intersection of Bridge and King for a moment before attempting to speed away again, but the rim of the car only spun and he could not move the car. He was detained at the scene as officers searched the sedan.
